Join Croydon Korfball Club

Croydon Korfball Club is the oldest, most well-organised and friendliest club in the London and the UK. We compete at all levels from Under 11 Juniors to English National League. Our recent honours include winning the British Korfball Association Cup in 2001 (and being finalists in 2003), qualifying for the Europa Shield in 2004 and winning the English Korfball Association 1st Division in 2007. The club is always keen to welcome new players, from complete beginners to international superstars.

We welcome new joiners, young and old to our Thursday night club training sessions held at Royal Russell School. This session is open to complete beginners and everyone in the club, of any standard, and is preceded by Juniors training. Click here for information about joining us a Junior. The 1st and 2nd team squad also train more competitively on Tuesday nights at Royal Russell School. Home matches are also played here, normally on a Sunday. Our 4 senior teams, compete in the English Korfball Premier League and London Korfball Leagues from late October to early April each year and in the English Korfball Association Cup; and throughout the Summer we also compete in many outdoor tournaments and local Spring and Autumn Outdoor Leagues. Indeed, on the last Sunday in June each year, we stage the biggest Korfball Tournament in the UK, usually at Lloyd Park, with around 60 teams playing, including some from Holland and other parts of Europe. In addition, every year over the August Bank Holiday weekend, we travel to a Dutch tournament in Leiderdorp, near Leiden and camp over with our great friends from Velocitas Korfball Club.
