I may be a little confused by what day it is, staying up all night waiting at Dunkirk ferry terminal tends to make you go a little crazy!!!

But I would like to thank Dirk and Velocitas for another great tournament. I'm looking forward to next years already.

As usual the tournament was great, and the company excellent. Luckily the weather wasn't the promised rain all day. We had a couple of showers but otherwise it was okay to play in!

Hope everyone else had as much fun as me!!

I have asked some of our U15 's to play for Croydon 2, so there 'll be 2 teams. Will see you on Friday at the club house. And I think we have managed to avoid matches clashing....

Ha ve spoken to Jules about this. Haven 't got all the info I need at the office (yes, I do work sometimes) but will post a solution asap, probably tonight (latish, after reffing this evening) or tomorrow early.

Think I might be able to get you some subs to play in the 2nd team.

If we could avoid the teams playing at the same time then perhaps we can manage with a girl and a boy short with people playing back to back for both teams (sure there will be some keenies amoung us), but would still likely need to borrow at least 1 or 2 other boys through the day. Sure we can manage.

Oh no!! Not too sure what to do. I would like to play as many games as possible so would go for the borrowing extra players for a second team but it will all depend if we can borrow. Over to you Dirk! :-)

Dirk and all who are going to Velocitas, Ed and Gary have pulled out of the trip so I am now short of two more boys. So we either need to borrow 2 more boys to add to the already one boy and girl borrowed from the Dutchies or just enter one team with 5 boys but 7 girls. Any one any ideas.

I have noted that and will be able to provide a girl and a boy (or 2 of both if required) for your 2nd team.

just thought I'd see how many people are going to Cardiff tourno this year (numbers look pretty low on the events page).

Have discovered a fellow Korfer at work who used to play for Bristol Uni and will be playing for them at the Cardiff tourno this year. I think Irena has already pursuaded him to join us next season but if a few people are going to Cardiff this year could be good to introduce ourselves.

Hey Everyone, I have just sent out an email asking if people would like to play the London under 16s on Tuesday 6th July as they prepare for the inter area in Kent.

Please can you get back to me as soon as possible.

Thanks

Good day on Sunday (bar the footy) learned my lesson about trying to play every game back to back in that kind of heat! Was dead by the afternoon and that was even with a game break before lunch.

Karen, will be seeing you at the Kent tourniement, are you just going for that day or the other tournament going on the day before (might be under 16's not too sure)?

A very big thank you from 22 tired but very grateful Dutchies. Thanks for the food, the drinks, the company, sleeping bags, air beds, the driving around.....We hope to see you either in August at the Velocitas tournament or maybe next year at the Croydon tournament.

A special thank you to Paul and Anna (sorry about the house Anna) and Jules for a great social on Saturday.
