Croydon stars on International Duty

Croydon Korfball have no less than 4 players representing their countries tomorrow in an international tournament taking place at Trinity School in Shirley.

Rebecca Pratt has been called up by Scotland, while Stephen Gooch will fly the flag for England as part of the under 19 squad taking part in the one day event.

Sisters Ellen and Kay Swygart will also be in action for the first time after being called upon as part of the Ireland national team.

Croydon's representation at the event doesn't stop with those players however, as several members of the club will also be participating as officials. International juror Steve Wright leads a team including Ben Walsh and Andy Bovey on the shot clock for the event. Simon Mills will also join them when he is not involved in his other capacity on the day as referee.
