7 of Croydon 3 battle on

Croydon 7's didn't fair too well this weekend. Only 6 turned up for the 3rds away match to Pelham and last minute spectator inclusion (me) still left a girl short.

A surprise 2-0 to Croydon was gradually pulled back by Pelham who went in half time 5-3 to the good. The extra girl was the difference with Pelham running out winners at 12-8

7 of Croydon 4 battle on as well

Another 7 turned up to take on another Bec team. This time a repeat of the 25-0 wasn't going to happen with Croydon drawing first blood.
Scoring was pretty even at 5-5 but once again the 8 over the 7 had the advantage and Bec scored 5 without reply. Still 2 goals for the Deans with Jon Dean getting his first ever competitive goal
