Croydon Hawks kick off new seasonCroydon Hawks took to the their first league game against North Downs at Trinity school. North Downs started the game well being the older of the two teams, they dominated the match and took their chances to score. Hawks showed good composure and had some very good moments where their passing and creativity earnt them a few shots at the North Downs posts. They were however unsuccessful with a few shots coming very close much to the supporters' dismay. Defensively it's back to the drawing board as the team found it hard to play against the 2-2 setup employed by the North Downs attack. The Hawks will hopefully remember this game and look to improve their form in the near future.
