Croydon 2 too strong for South London 1

With another changing second team sections were first attack Callum, Dom, Kay and Kim leaving defence Andy, Ed, Hannah and Lorna. Note Ed and Kim had already stepped up and subbed for ones so were totally warmed up! Craig kindly was ready to come on if needed.

I believe we scored first, woo hoo, and then there was a 2 - 2 stale mate. Our shots then didn’t go in and there’s did, we were losing!? Oh no! But step up the physical side of Croydon. If pushing and fight is needed it can be done. Sarah the ref called two boys aside to ‘pack it in’ or words to that affect. Fabulous highlight was Andy half way line goal a true Christmas Cracker - one handed lob to Ed at the post but after numerous spins around basket drops in! Defo shot of the game.

Kieron half time talk with advice from Tom and all to play for as team effort. With a goodly crowd of supporters bring on the second half.

Hannah floored again, must get a nick name for you but can’t think at the moment. Callum came alive, continuing scoring as if it was simple. Competing for goal of game, scoring a running in shot after being sandwiched by the two guys. I’d like to see that like Andy’s goal again.

Anyway, very pleased to say we won!! Great team effort, Kim no idea how you did 2 games. Dom super section control. Callum yes you put them up. Kay so unlucky not to have scored as all over her player and the pitch. Andy you had their strongest boy and worked him hard Ed like Kim, how on earth played so solidly again Hannah a pleasure and thanks so much for taking the more physical girl and me thanks but I defo prefer lower games!
