In first attack was Dom, Alex, Mollie and Karen. Leaving Mark, Ed, Vicky and Charlotte in first defence. Croydon rushed into an early 4 goal lead and it looked like it might be a stroll in the park. However Bromley dug in and managed to pull a couple back before half-time. Dom scored two penalties but uncharacteristically gave away two penalties too (one of which they scored) as his younger player gave him a run around. Karen scored a runner for the first and Ed and Mark kept the score ticking over their end. Half time talk was to slow down and spread out!! Kathy giving some expert coaching tips from the side. Second half started ok with both sides scoring a couple, Dom and Ed added a couple more each and Mollie added a cool penalty. Vicky rolled her ankle with about 5mins to go and after checking it would be legal (or so we thought), Kathy came on for the final few minutes. Mollie played an excellent first game for the adult teams and showed good composure for her penalty. Karen did well covering when needed, Alex pooped up so many shots but just had one of those days, but his defence was solid. Vicky made several good runners and Charlotte controlled collect. Ed also popped up a good few shots and was tireless as ever, supported well by mark who is another 'Duracell bunny' for the 3rds. Also special thanks to Charlotte for turning up at last minute notice. But another win, so bring on Woking next week.
