Rain stopped play

After a super car journey - thank you very much mummy Charlotte - with Zach, Jules and Jenny, we were pleased that Craig, Vik and Bryan made it all on time. We had a professional warm up, maybe... So it was game on.

First defence, Bryan, Charlotte, Julia and Vik. Due to strategic man marking, which back fired because Supernova could be renamed Swapnova!! Leaving first attack of Craig, Jenny, Lorna and Zach.

First half came and went, half time score was 5-5. We played well both in attack and defence. The games was anyone’s.

Until... Charlotte pointed out her calves were tight but she would continue, yay!

Second half, the small hall, physical tight marking and the swapping of faces was beginning to wear. We still were beautifully bringing the ball out of defence, using our set plays but with Charlotte needing to come off, Swapnova began to pull ahead.

Final score could’ve been 7-10 but Zachs goal was disallowed due to waterlogged pitch. Discussion was had and mutual agreement was made in game finishing early.

PS. Well done to Vik in his section of 3 getting all the collects and Charlotte for bringing us all home.

PPS. Jenny was not a fish out of water (until the end!) keeping up with her 3 different opponents and putting a few shots up in a league higher than she’s comfortable playing.
