Made even better by a late 16.40 throw off. We went into the game feeling confident, having seen the 1sts win so well and knowing that we had three Harkers on the team Anna scored the first 2 goals, aided by her fellow attackers: Dom, Chris and Becca. Stas and Ed scored quickly to bring Croydon 4-0 up. Goals were shared around but unfortunately Highbury caught up bringing the score to 5-5 at half time. Richard subbed himself on to mix up the boys a bit. His cunning plan nearly worked but Highbury made more subs than us. The second half was particularly frustrating, with 4 goals for Croydon being disallowed, including a beautiful goal by Katherine!) and some missed pens and runners.
