The 2s flew to a 6-3 lead over a SN team who were marking with their club’s trademark aggressiveness. Will was all over them though, sinking a stunning shot from distance, which had Croydon shooting loud and proud. We couldn't keep the lead going though and SN sank 5 goals without reply. From then on in, Croydon would come within 1 goal only to see SN edge it back to 2. Kathy, for the first time ever we believe, was warned by the ref and threatened with a yellow card! Will was definitely on fire, scoring a sublime 6 goals including an awesome one handed effort after running in and losing his player at the post. Sadly the rest of the team couldn't match his game play and SN left the delightful hall with the points.
