Pre-Tournament DrinkiesThe London Korfball Association is running a practical refereeing session on Wednesday 2nd October between 7-9pm. This will be run by our very own international referee, Paul Jeanes. As people may know CKC is expected to provide referees for our home matches in the LKA Divisions 2 and 3. The purpose of the course is give less experienced referees some practical tips. The subject will depend to some extent on the attendees’ preferences but the last course included tips on positioning, what is and isn’t a foul, pre-match preparation and controlling the game. The venue is the sports hall at Blossom House School, 8A The Drive, Wimbledon. SW20 8TG. The nearest station is Raynes Park. If you are interested, please email Mark Paxton at treasurer@londonkorfball.com stating your name and club and cc chair@croydonkorfball.com **** It will be a practical session so please bring kit to play in. The cost for the session will be £5 per attendee which will be payable on the day and then can be reclaimed from the CKC development fund by emailing Jane - chair@croydonkorfball.com However, the LKA reserves the right to charge the club of any player who states that they will attend but then does not show up and CKC will not cover that cost!
