Olympics come to CKC
Croydon 4's very own Jon Dean has been given the honour of carrying the Olympic Torch on its way to Stratford. WELL DONE JON!!!!!!!
Well its amazing what rewards you get for playing for Croydon 4ths! Unfortunately I may not be able to wear a Croydon shirt on the day because they've already asked for my height, chest size and even my inside leg measurement...so I'll probably be some sort of clone... but korfball will definately get a mention. For those interested the big day is 23 July (a Monday) when the torch makes its way from Lewisham to Wandsworth via.... Croydon of course. The exact route is yet to be published. So I've got about 7 months to train for my 100m sprint.... and think which charity I will run for. Jon
