CKC Introducing - Toby Clarke It's here, the one you've all been waiting for...episode 3 of our Introducing series. This week we focus on one of our new first-team recruits, the rather lovely Toby Clarke. He has already scored a whopping 53 goals in his first season playing for Croydon. That's an incredibly impressive 4.1 goals per game! At only 20 years old, he has already been playing Korfball for 13 years and last week saw him train with the British Students team. Will any of our own CKC Juniors be able to emulate his success? Fingers crossed! Name: Toby Clarke Age: 20 From: Cambridge Occupation: Student - studying aeronautical engineering How long have you been playing Korfball: 13 years Why did you start playing Korfball: It was an after school club at my primary school, that my mum sent me and my three siblings too. Best thing about Korfball: The gender equality, it provides a unique dynamic to the game and gives great atmosphere off the court. Why did you choose to play for CKC: I was recommended by some old team mates and in terms of location it's easiest for me to travel from Brighton to. Best thing about CKC: Croydon have a great foundation to the club, the junior section is very large and they have done so much for Korfball as a sport.Previous photo Next photo1 of 1 Story by Kerry | Updated by Kerry · 12 years ago
