Korfball Camp for 30 kids a success

Over 30 children have enjoyed a 2 day introduction to korfball with Grace Stimpson. Expertly assisted by Jon Dean, Becky Dean, Anna Jeanes, and Leah Palfreyman, Grace led the children through the basics of the game and helped them to develop their korfing skills. The children, aged 8-11 years, were from a variety of primary schools in the Woodcote 'cluster' near Coulsdon and all chose korfball from a variety of activities on offer in the Easter camp. This opportunity is the result of Anna Jeanes' links with the Sports Development Team in the area.

A very tired Grace said "It was good to see so many kids enjoying the sport for the first time. I hope that as many as possible will come to Croydon, and will spread the korfball word!"

Many thanks to all who generously gave up their time.
