New Korfball Design
A new ball is soon to grace our courts. Made by Mikasa, the largest korfball manufacturer, the K5-IKF will be officially launched at the European Championships being held in The Netherlands from 22 October to 31 October.
The new ball breaks away from the current football design and will be blue and yellow (we pushed for blue and black but the Japanese manufacturer wasn't interested).
The ball also features small dimples which will make the ball easier to grip and less slippery than the current balls.
The currently used K5 and K5-FT will no longer be produced and their use in competitions will be gradually fazed out.
