Tight friendly encounter 3rds v 4ths battle

The game was a good friendly tight match between the 3rds and the 4ths. The match saw some new players as well as the return of the experienced Steve Wright. The game started with the 3s going two up with goals from the Burr father and son combination, but with 4 unanswered goals from the 4ths, it was a game of catch up for the 3s. They were trailing all game until near the end when the 3s managed to claw back a 5 goal deficit to make it level, but David in the 4ths slotted home a free pass to clinch the win by one goal.

It was a great game to watch with some very encouraging debuts for the girls and certainly ones to watch in the future as well as goals coming from all over the pitch on both sides.
