Great day out in Cheam

Two teams of super skilled Croydon players took to the field at Cheam Sports club to show the Korfballing world their prowess.

Both teams started the day at the beginning, played Korfball, or something approaching Korfball throughout the day, and finished on a high note on fantastic form. Not all the players actually finished the day in one piece, it has to be noted! More than one, possibly several, fell before the final hurdle; but no one skulked off early, and the cheers from the injured players turned supporters, echoed for many a mile.

Oh and some fell after the final hurdle - I don't know what Mark and Karen were doing together but apparently it lead Dan to biting them both on the leg, and they have huge marks to prove it. Karen didn't recover enough to make Tuesday training but Mark was there showing off the teeth marks!

Yes there was some Korfball played, and both teams finished somewhere above some other teams and somewhere below some others.
We beat Nomads, but I can't actually remember any of the other scores! Sorry.

It was a fun day though, lots of playing, laughing (Zu - who nicked your chair?), and general merriment.
