CKC AGMAt today's AGM, a new CKC committee was elected. The changes were as follows: Jane Belfourd takes over as chair from Dave Smith, with Zoe Shewell replacing her as secretary. After some sterling work the last few years, Zu Munshi stepped down to be replaced by Julia Johnson as social secretary and Dan Pratt as junior development officer. In addition, a new post of development officer was created with relative newbie Adam Champion fulfilling the position. The rest of the committee were re-elected with only a few complaints about Steve Pratt's drinking (joke). The full committee line-up is therefore: Chair - Jane Belfourd Vice Chair - Steve Pratt Secretary - Zoe Shewell Treasurer - Karen Pratt Match Secretary - Anna Jeanes Development - Adam Champion Juniors - Dan Pratt Social Secretary - Julia Johnson Child Protection Officer – Lynda Barker The new chair had the following to say in her victory speech: "Thanks to those who are stepping down for their contribution to the club and welcome to the newbies, it'll be fun I promise! And many thanks to all of you who turned up to the AGM. I think we had a really good discussion which will help the committee decide with Dave [Butters, squad coach] what we want to do next year. Please do get in touch with me or Dave with comments or further reflections. Thanks Jane". Finally Dan Pratt was this year's winner of this year's Samos Cup. The cup is given to the person who has done the most for the club, according to those present at the AGM.
