Get together at Park Hill

Happy new year to everybody. I hope you enjoyed the break, and have come back keen and rested.

I've enjoyed my own break, and have been reflecting on my role as Chair of the CKC. After several years as Chair it feels like its the right time for someone else to take over from next season. I would like to express my thanks to everybody who has helped and supported me, especially Paul and those who are or have been on the committee. For me, any success has come from when we have worked together and that is what I have enjoyed.

Please seriously consider whether you could be the next chair or take on another role in the club at the next AGM. Yes, it does take time, but it is also fun and rewarding. Everybody will have a reason why they can say no, please try and considering saying yes.

I'd be happy to talk to anyone about what is involved.
