With a loose world cup theme this year (a tad obscure in places) awards went to; Lorna Elliot – Tony Pulis Manager of the Year Becky Dean – Yaya Toure banging free kick (for scoring her first free pass) Janine Bovey – Oxlade-Chamberlain ligament injury (but determined to continue to play!) Chelsie Browne – Christiano Ronaldo award for always looking good during and after a game! Pete Lindsay – Penalty Nerves of Steel (for his final second penalty against Highbury, to result in a win!) Jane Hudspith – Ashley Cole ‘left behind award,’ after being left in the car park by her husband following training ‘Proper’ awards went to….. 1sts - Toby Clarke 2nds - Simon Mills 3rds - Adam Stevens (very close with 16% of vote) 4ths - David Hughes Players player (team members only votes): 1sts - Toby Clarke 2nds - Ed Chaney 3rds - Kerry Akif 4ths - David Hughes Best male newcomer: Adam Stevens Best female newcomer: The Twins Top goalscorer: Ben Walsh and Toby Clarke 'All rounder' - Emma Sturgess And the 2 social secs Jess Green and Kathy Bradford got most improved players!
