Sep Squad Training

So to keep you all updated on the events of the past few weeks.....

Once the government gave the go ahead for the Korfball Return to Play, the committee was working hard trying to get Korfball back up and running for Croydon as soon as possible. We have found a new outdoor venue (St.David's School, Purley) and had an in club friendly ready to announce on 8th November, where would would have familiarised ourselves with new rules, before looking to try and get training or matches up and running again.

The juniors were also at advanced levels of being ready to announce a return to training at Riddlesdown School.

However, then lockdown 2 happened, which meant all amateur sport was off again.....

So instead we are now prosing a new date for the in club friendly on Sunday 6th December at 2pm.
Obviously this could get further postponed if the government decide to extend lockdown or do not allow amateur sports to recommence, but we want to be optimistic and have a date in mind.
As a committee we continue to work hard to ensure that, when we can, we get our fantastic club back up and running again as soon as possible. Any other suggestions or ideas please feel free to message Dom directly or email the committee as we'd love to hear from our members.

Keep a lookout for more updates and try and sell korfball to as many newbies as you can, in case we get a sudden rush of people wanting to get back into a sport when we can.
