Join London's friendliest korfball club
Brand new to korfball, coming back to sport, or chasing National League — there's a place for you at CKC. Your first four sessions are free.
Croydon Korfball Club is renowned as the friendliest club in London. We're also the biggest and longest running korfball club in the UK, with a history spanning over 80 years. We welcome players from across South London and Surrey — including Croydon, Purley, Sutton, Mitcham, Crystal Palace and Wimbledon.
Opportunities at every level
CKC has 4 senior teams playing at every level of London korfball. This season we have places available in every team, including the first team — especially for female players. If you're ambitious and committed, you could soon be playing National League korfball.
We also welcome people who are brand new to korfball or haven't played sport for a while. We'll help you learn the game at your own pace, in training and then matches.
I found the sport completely by accident and 2 years later I'm playing in the London leagues!
Leading facilities
Home matches and club training are at Royal Russell School, Coombe Lane, East Croydon (CR9 5BX) on Thursdays 8–10pm.
With over 12 korfball posts in a huge sports hall there's room for everyone. There's easy parking, and the tram from East Croydon station stops right outside.
I only went to watch a match and now I've been playing for 18 years
Top level coaching
Our coaching set-up has international experience, and several members have played or refereed at the very top of the game.
Club training is on Thursday nights, with a squad training session on Wednesdays at the same venue. More about training.
The coaches are just so friendly and patient
A korfball year
Winter leagues
Our senior teams compete in London and regional leagues from late October to early April each year.
Summer tournaments
Summer korfball is about having fun in the sun. Our own tournament on the last Sunday in June is the biggest and best run in the UK, with around 30 teams including some from Holland and the rest of Europe.

How much does it cost?

Gold and Silver are paid by standing order across 7 months; the first payment relates to October. Concession: students, under 18s and 1st year graduates.
My daughter did a taster session and now the whole family plays!
Juniors
A thriving juniors section with over 50 juniors on our books, and multiple players in the England U13, U15, U17 and U19 squads. Our junior teams play monthly round-robin competitions plus tournaments like the National Youth Day — but mostly they have loads of fun and make new friends.
Juniors train on Thursdays from 7 to 8pm in term time at Royal Russell School. Older juniors (13+) often move up into our senior teams, and several of our top team came through the ranks.
They did a school taster session... half the kids in my son's class signed up, soon after he did too!
I joined Croydon as Anna coached me as a junior and I wanted to play seniors with her
